Rides & Events

In addition to our regular local weekly rides, we also participate in special rides and other events throughout the year. All rides are rated according to difficulty. Unless otherwise indicated, we ride as one group. Mileage is based on the given starting point.

Helmets are required on all rides, and all riders must sign the CSBG Liability Release.

For general information, contact Larry Scheetz.

Come join the fun!

Difficulty Ratings

Beginner: 5-10 miles in length, 5-10 mph, little or no climbing (current Tuesday CSBG rides).

Easy: 10-30 miles in length, 10-15 mph, little or no climbing (Wednesday CSBG ride via Puddingstone lakeside trail).

Moderate: 15-40 miles in length, 12-18 mph, moderate (less than 1000 ft) climbing. (Monday CSBG basic ride, or Wednesday CSBG ride including San Dimas Ave. and/or Via Verde climbs, or Victoria Gardens via 19th St)

Difficult: 25-100 miles in length, 14–20 mph, may include significant climbs. Riders planning to participate in ‘Difficult’ rides should generally consult with the leader regarding the suitability of the ride to their skill levels. Examples would be the 100-mile beach loop or Glendora Mtn. Rd. to Baldy Village.
