City of Claremont Events
On Wednesday, February 24th, is the grand opening of the Claremont Bikestation, providing secure bike parking and other amenities for cyclists. The event flyer is attached below – note the free lunch for those who participate in the ride to Covina!
CSBG, co-ordinated by the inimitable Larry Scheetz, is being asked to staff a sign-in table at the Claremont Depot as well as guide the group ride from Claremont to Covina.
The ride will be led by Tom Deno, with Larry riding the tandem (with Susan Brunasso) as sweep. Larry would like a back-up sweep person in case he has to stop to assist someone. (There will be no ride at the Bike Station Dedication if there is rain.) We may have as many as 100 riders.
